who apply Dr. Glasser´s ideas of the Quality School

INFORMATION & FIRST CALL FOR PAPERS
We invite teachers and others who apply Dr. Glasser´s ideas of the Quality School in kindergartens, schools and universities, and representatives of the William Glasser Institute, as well as others interested in getting acquainted with the basic ideas of the Glasser Quality School, to take part in the Conference and make contributions to the improvement of the educational quality in the Republic of Croatia.
We encourage you to submit papers that will show the attempts made to apply the ideas, methods and techniques of the Quality School: School without Coercion, both in directly working with students and working with their parents and the local community. We would especially appreciate papers that report on practical experience in educational institutions.
Delivered papers will be distributed to workshops according to the problems and projects they deal with, e.g., Application of Choice Theory in Educational Institutions,Relationships in a Quality School, Lead-Management instead of Boss-Management, Responsibility in a Quality School, Teacher or Head-Master as a Modern Manager, Examples of Team Learning in the Classroom, PTA Meetings in a Quality School, Projects of Building Quality Relationships with Local Community, and the like.
Professional/scientific papers are limited to eight typed double-spaced pages (2400 words). Reports on practical experience or on workshops are limited to three pages (900 words).
All papers are to be written using Microsoft Office and both a diskette and a printed copy must be turned in by September 10, 2002. Registration for the Poster Section and for video or Microsoft PowerPoint presentations is also due by this date.
