In the movie "Mission: Mars" shown on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday starting at 19:30h, the visitors can watch how the spectacular conquest of Mars was performed and how research into its surface was led, while the professionally conducted presentation " Small Bodies of the Solar System", scheduled for Tuesday at 19:30, introduces the audience with "the falling stars". The novelty of the programme includes children's matinees taking place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, when preschool children and young school-aged children, owing to a professionally guided walk through the starry sky, will open doors towards the stunning world of the universe.
The guide to the autumn night sky is scheduled for Fridays starting at 20:30 h. In the course of professionally guided presentations, presenters will instruct the audience how to observe sky bodies and phenomena and will provide orientation in the autumn night sky over Rijeka. A re-run of "The Race to Earth" is scheduled for Friday at 19:30, while observations at the observatory will continue to be held on Saturdays, starting at 20:30.
