Besides other events that will commemorate this Anniversary, an exceptional music project entitled “Eroica in Torpedo”  is being prepared in memory and honour of all the victims of torpedo. It is a unique cultural event on the Croatian and a much broader cultural scene. 

The Rijeka Philharmonic will perform the 3rd Symphony by Ludwig van Beethoven, “Eroica”, in the abandoned production hall of the Rijeka Torpedo factory at 20 o’clock in the evening on Friday 19th September 2003.  The Rijeka Philharmonic will be conducted by
Nada Matošević while the Croatian Television will record the concert in order to broadcast it to numerous classical music enthusiasts.
