Project for bulding Museum of Contemporary Arts in Rijeka was presented to the public last Friday. Rijeka based renown architects Randic and Turato won the bid for the architectural design for the Museum of Contemporary Arts which will be situated in a former factory in downtown Rijeka.

Rijeka City Mayor Vojko Obersnel opened an exhibition of works by architects who took part in a bid for developing a project for the Museum of Contemporary Arts in Rijeka last Friday.

The exhibition features 11 works that aimed to restructure the so-called "T-building" of the former "Ricard Bencic" factory into the Museum of Contemporary Arts. The project also includes building the square in front of the Museum and a public garage located underneath it.

Rijeka arhitects and planner Randic and Turato won the bid. You can see their first winning idea on their web site www.randic-turato.hr.
