Other Croatians, among which high school teachers in Italian schools in Croatia, Croatian politicans and mayors, and representatives of Italian minority living in Croatia were granted this award.   

Mayor Obersnel has sent a letter of gratitute to the Italian president thanking him for the award and the trust shown for Obersnel's efforts on making ties between Croatia and Italy stonger.
