The seminar will be led by four eminent jazz professors from the Jazz Institute at the University of Music, Graz (Austria):
- Prof. Stefan Heckel – piano, musical theory, ensembles
- Prof. Heinrich von Kalnein – saxophone, flute, trumpet, ensembles
- Prof. Christian Salfellner – drums, ensembles
- Prof. Juan Garcia Herreros – contrabass, guitar, ensembles
The seminar will take place from 26 to 28 March 2010 (Friday-Saturday-Sunday), in the premises of the Regional Department of the Academy of Music in Rijeka, Korzo 28, 3rd floor, (Filodrammatica building). Lectures and practical teaching will be held every day from 10:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m. and from 03:00 to 08:00 p.m. (except Sunday when afternoon lessons will not be held…).
The registration fee amounts to EUR 100 (domestic currency equivalent) payable by participants in favour of the giro account of the City of Rijeka Tourist Board No: 2484008-1101549765 (ref. no – citizen's personal ID No.) with an indication "For the jazz-seminar Rijeka", by 15 March 2010 as the closing date.
