After acclimatisation at Barafu camp (at 4800 m) at the foot of Uhuru, the ascend started at 00:30 h which, with difficulties caused by low levels of oxygen and low temperatures, lasted somewhat more than eight hours. The following expedition members reached the peak: Vitomir Maričić, Sandro Erceg, Ivan Fućak, Siniša Knežević, Zoran Nebić and Nebojša Nikolajev. After that the expedition descended and returned to the Barafu camp at about 13:00 h.
