The founder of the Agency is the City of Rijeka. The Agency activities include follow-up activities of the citizens' interests and needs to buy flats under the subsidised housing scheme.
The activities of the Subsidised Housing Agency include:
drawing up annual and mid-term projections concerning the construction of residential buildings under the subsidised housing scheme, establishing the size, structure and number of flats, planning the location intended for subsidised housing, ordering project documentation for residential buildings, contracting the construction of residential buildings under the subsidised housing scheme, carrying out construction inspection works and building takeover, signing flat purchase agreements and monitoring repayment in instalments,
realisation of other forms of subsidised housing whereby providing new residential premises.
