The Features in Brief:
Racing to Earth (“Utrka do Zemlje” – “La corsa sulla Terra”) – 30 min animated feature
This is a fun animated film introducing us to the empires of Gasmoonia and Karmoonia and unveiling whether the inhabitants of the Moon are going to succeed in the historic adventure of making a space ship and landing it on Earth.
Planets in Sight (“Pogled na planete”), a 35 min astronomical documentary classic
Intended for a wide audience, the film uncovers the secrets of the Solar System through fascinating panoramic images.
Two Small Pieces of Glass (“Dva mala komada stakla”) is a popular documentary story about the history and the development of the telescope - 30 min.
What did the first telescopes look like, what are the largest telescopes in the world like and what are the challenges faced by the latest generation of observatories – these are only some of the questions to which answers are provided in the film, accompanied by the extraordinary sounds of the prestigious London Symphony Orchestra.
“Vibrato”, a journey through space in a virtual reality simulator - 40 min
Vibrato is the echo of space. Intended for Science Fiction lovers and those who like to gather new experiences, Vibrato takes you on an unforgettable journey beyond space and time, in a virtual reality simulator.
Ticket prices (VAT-inclusive):
- 10 kn for children, students and pensioners (whose status is to be proven by presenting a student or pensioner ID),
- 20 kn for adults and
- 10 kn for a guided visit to the Observatory.
