The 5^th International New Technologies and Products Fair will take place from 08 to 10 April  2009, at the Croatian Cultural Centre at Sušak, Rijeka.
 
Within the fair, three panel lectures will be held focussing on topics such as the energy industry, medicine, ecology and global warming. „The Energy Prospects of Croatia“, is the topic of the first lecture and discussion, which will be followed by a medicine panel titled „Increase in malignancies, where do we stand?“ while the third and the last topic is titled „Ecological challenges of our time“.
 
The 5^th International New Technologies and Products Fair will include more contents than the previous one since it will contain the following units:
 
a)     the exhibition area that will relate to parts for: 
             i.      organiser's and co-organisers' joint premises 
            ii.      entrepreneurs in the atelier and "Kortil" gallery 
           iii.      faculties within the University of Rijeka and the Polytechnic College 
                     Rijeka on the first floor 
           iv.      technological centres and associations of innovators 
 
b)     lectures by eminent lecturers in the hall of the Croatian Cultural Centre.
 
c)      additional events at Corso
 
 
 
  DanTe – Dan novih tehnologija (New technologies day)
 
„New technologies day“ is a joint manifestation of the City of Rijeka, MIPRO - The Croatian Society for microprocessors, electronics, informatics and computers and the Association of Technical Culture Rijeka.
The objective of this event is to present trends and achievements in high technology and the development of modern technology, which implementation does not affect the ecosystem. The intention of the organiser is to turn this New Technologies Day into a traditional manifestation of Rijeka and Croatia. On this occasion the organiser will try to choose topics of a general social significance, and those of practical interest for the region of Rijeka.

  14. The Universities Exhibition
 
During this year's manifestation the University, in co-operation with the City of Rijeka, will also organise the Universities Exhibition intended for secondary school leavers, students and anyone interested in it.
The aim of this exhibition is to present to young people any relevant information on undergraduate and graduate studies at all the faculties within the University and enrolment for academic year 2009/10.
