This year's edition of traditional "Press Fiumanka", will include 12 media companies which crews will be sailing regatta yachts Jeanou One Design 35, provided by the organiser with support from ACI. In the race of media representatives lasting for two days the crews of media companies from Croatia, Slovenia and Hungary will take part.

The programme of Fiumanka opens on Thursday in Zadar, with the start of a new navigation regatta jointly organised by the sailing clubs Uskok from Zadar and Maxi from Rijeka. Liburnia Regatta will start from the city port at noon, and the first yachts are expected to reach the target in front of the Rijeka port between Thursday night and Friday morning.

The news of this year's Fiumanka is in many regattas organised on Friday, 11 June. Thus three regattas are envisaged to start at 11:00 a.m. from three regatta fields in front of the Rijeka breakwater: Press Fiumanka, humanitarian Rotary Fiumanka and Seascape Fiumanka. For those who will not take part in racing ideal places to watch the regattas will be from the terrace of the Terminal restaurant and the Rijeka breakwater. The regatta of traditionally constructed yachts Classic Fiumanka will start from the port at 6 p.m.

The start of the First Virtual Fiumanka will take place at the Terminal club at 8:00 p.m., a specific regatta for which you don't need a boat or a sail, but a good PC, dexterous hands, and perhaps, still some sailing experience.

A rich entertainment programme is organised for the citizens of Rijeka and their guests who decide to take a stroll down by the waterfront in the evening on the Karolina Riječka quay and at the Terminal, with a nice scenery of the port swamping with sails.

The start of Big Fiumanka is scheduled for Saturday, 12 June at 11 a.m. in front of the Rijeka breakwater, with several changes in organisation included in this year's edition. The regatta is divided into three routes, the traditional one and the shortest with the target in front of the entrance to Porto Baroš, the family route to be sailed to Kostrena and the regatta route to be sailed to Omišalj and then all of them gathering again and heading toward the target in a noisy atmosphere. Further to changes in the length of the routs adjusted to the possibilities of sailing boats, the routs will be sailed applying OPEN and ORC systems.

The start of Skipper Fiumanka that gathers the winners by groups is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. and this regatta is raced for the prestigious title of the best skipper of Fiumanka. The celebration in which the winners are proclaimed will begin at 9:00 p.m. and this year's edition will be somewhat more formal due to a number of regattas and cups.
The evening hours are dedicated to socialising, a fête on the waterfront as the unmissable part of every regatta – on the Karolina Riječka quay at 9:00 p.m. and performances by bands Crash Riders and Koktels, and at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday the musical programme by bands Accept and Prljavo kazalište.
