It is expected that 220 domestic and foreign participants, Croatists and Slavists will take part in the 5th Croatian Congress of Slavists, for the first time to be organised by the Committee of Croatian Slavists of the Croatian Philological Society and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of the University of Rijeka.
The participants will contribute with their papers to scientific consideration of thematic areas, such as Croatian Glagolitic and paleoslavistic issues, the Slavic context of the Croatian language, literature and culture, the Chacavian dialect components of the Croatian language, literature and culture, the codification and cultivation of the Croatian language in the 20th century, high and low in Croatian literature and culture and the construction and deconstruction of canons on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the death of Janko Polić Kamov, this was said during the press conference organised by the Committee of Croatian Slavists.
