The tasks of the Division of public and business facilities management are as follows:

  • letting out on lease business facilities owned by the City of Rijeka (business and public facilities),
  • implementing tendering procedures for letting out on lease business facilities in auctions
  • concluding lease agreements, guarantee agreements, agreements on debt repayment by instalment etc.,
  • invoicing and collecting rental charges,
  • controlling the implementation of lease agreements, agreements on debt repayment by instalment etc.
  • initiating proceedings due to breach of lease agreements, agreements on debt repayment by instalment etc.,
  • issuing consent to leaseholders for fitting out business premises,
  • processing the tenant’s request to change and / or supplement the activities in the business premises,
  • processing leaseholders’ requests for modification and / or supplementation: the activity performed in the business premises, the offered assortment, the type of hospitality activity or services provided, within the contracted activity,
  • processing leaseholders’ requests to get consent to business premises subletting,
  • processing of requests for assuming the rights and obligations of the previous leaseholder (legal succession)
  • processing leaseholders’ requests for debt repayment by instalments.
  • processing letters of intent submitted by persons interested in leasing business premises.
