Project goal: To increase the skills and knowledge of unemployed youth needed in the labour market in order to improve their employment opportunities, while making use of existing resources in the field of non-profit organisations and boosting self-employability in the territory of the Primorje – Gorski Kotar County and the Osijek – Baranja County.

New opportunities – increasing the employability of unemployed youth
Duration: January 2015 – September 2016

 

Key activities:
80 young unemployed people will be included in the programme (aged between 18 and 29), at all education levels, with or without work experience, including disabled youth as well as 20 civil society organisations that will develop a framework aimed at systematically engaging young unemployed youth through internship, comprising several activities:

  • Implementation of tailor-made educational programmes intended for unemployed youth
  • Internship-placement programmes dedicated to unemployed youth
  • Support through mentoring, counselling and best practice transfer
