“On the one hand, we are activating this work zone, and on the other, we are enriching its space with a new row of trees. With the planting trees action, which we also carry out during the European Green Week, we want to show in a symbolic way how green infrastructure, as it is now vividly said in European documents, is important for the life of the city and citizens, because it reduces the carbon footprint, it creates zones of improved microclimate, aesthetic is acceptable and should be an incentive for us all to create green oases in our gardens and in other areas”, said the head of the department Škunca.

The planted trees are already well developed and in a few years they will create a real row of trees in the Entrepreneurial Zone Bodulovo.

“We decided to mark the European Mobility Week by planting trees in the Entrepreneurial Zone Bodulovo. I hope that the owners will soon start realising their business ideas in the zone and that it will soon come to life. I also hope that the plot owners will follow our example and green their plots, so that we will get a small oasis for the future employees of the zone”, said mayor Filipović.
