The unique festival of its kind in the Primorje Gorski Kotar County, in the Lika – Senj County and in the Istria County, the Revue of Puppet Theatres in Rijeka was organised for the first time in 1996, ahead of the inauguration of the reconstructed building of the Rijeka Puppet Theatre.

Since then the Revue of Puppet Theatres has been organised yearly, during the first week of November, with the aim of presenting successful productions of domestic and foreign puppet theatres to the Rijeka audience. In addition to theatre productions for children and adults, a number of accompanying events are organised during the Revue: art workshops, puppet workshops for children, exhibitions and lectures.

The Revue is organised by the  Rijeka Puppet Theatre.
