The programme of the manifestation titled  Rijeka Summer Nights, takes place in June and July in various specific city locations and, in addition to entertainment, it offers a high level of quality cultural performances. The festival has included Rijeka among Croatian and European cities recognisable for its summer cultural programmes.

Rijeka citizens and their guests who visit Rijeka in this period may enjoy top notch musical and scene performances by renowned Croatian and world artists. The leading organiser the CNT Ivan Zajc has started cooperation with other cultural institutions of the City of Rijeka and the Primorje – Gorski Kotar County. This cooperation is aimed at transforming the Rijeka Summer Nights from the initially theatre and musical festival into a festival of diverse genres, open not only to all artistic forms and cultural interests, but moreover, to all generations of visitors.
