Opening time for Central and Brajda markets

Opening times on working days and Saturday:

Central market

  • Uncovered area from 7:00 to 14:00 h
  • Uncovered area – flower sale:
    • from 1 Nov. to 31 May from 7:00 to 19:00 h
    • from 1 June to 31 Oct. from 7:00 to 20:00 h
  • Pavilion I from 7:00 to 14:00 h
  • Pavilion II from 7:00 to 13:00 h
  • Pavilion III from 7:00 to 13:00 h

Brajda Market

  • Uncovered area from 7:00 to 15:00 h,
  • Pavilion from 7:00 to 14:00 h.

Opening time for markets on Sunday:

  • Uncovered area and pavilion from 7:00 to 12:00 h
  • Uncovered area – flower sale from 7:00 to 14:00 h.

Opening times for markets on holidays:

  • From 1 June to 31 Oct. – Sunday opening hours are applicable
  • From 1 Nov. to 31 May
    • Uncovered area and pavilions – the market is closed, with the exception of 1st Nov., when flowers are sold from 7:00 to 15:00 h.
    • If a holiday lasts for two days, markets are open the second day of the holiday and Sunday opening hours are applicable.

Opening times for Zamet and Vežica markets

Opening times for Zamet market from Monday to Saturday 07:00 – 17:00 h, Sunday 07:00 – 12:00 h.

Opening times for Vežica market from Monday to Saturday 07:00 – 14:00 h, Sunday 07:00 – 12:00 h.

Flea market

Every Sunday from 7 to 14 at the market in Brajda, the sale of second-hand goods takes place, the so called flea market.

Supply, merchandise storage and price disclosure

It is allowed to supply the market with fruits and vegetables on working days of the markets from 5:00 to 7:00 h, while supply with other products from 5:00 h until the closure of the opening hours of the markets.

Before starting to sell merchandise, the seller shall sort merchandise by groups and display it for sale. On each type of displayed goods, the seller shall display the price and other information on the goods, in accordance with regulations, which shall be clearly written.

The buyer must not touch foodstuffs, put litter outside suitable litterbins, hang around unnecessarily near points of sale or in other way disturb market order. It is forbidden to bring animals to the market place.
