\"\"Increase the participation of young people in the life of the local community by strengthening the dialogue between young people and decision-makers at the level of the City of Rijeka in the implementation of the Youth Programme of the City of Rijeka 2023-2030. In accordance with the general goal, the following specific project goals have been defined to: sensitise city administration employees for dialogue with young people, increase young people’s knowledge about decision-making processes, empower members of the Youth Council of the City of Rijeka to advocate quality policies for young people and bring together a community of practitioners to work with young people in the City of Rijeka in the implementation of the activities of the Youth Programme of the City of Rijeka 2023-2030.<\/p>\n

Project Summary<\/h2>\n

The main outcomes planned to be implemented for young people in Rijeka through this project are to include them in the creation of the annual Institutional Operational Plans of the Youth Programme of the City of Rijeka in the following thematic areas: Education and (self)employment, Welfare and independence of young people and Encouragement, empowerment and dialogue with young people that they themselves will implement and enable them to acquire specific knowledge and skills that will help them in their further work.<\/p>\n

The main outcomes that are planned to be achieved for the members of the Youth Council of the City of Rijeka owing to this project are to empower them to actively participate in decision-making for advocating quality policies for young people as part of the new Youth Programme of the City of Rijeka, as well as to achieve the preconditions for a quality dialogue between young people and decision-makers that they cooperate with, within their scope of work, all in order to better represent young people in the City of Rijeka and convey their needs to the competent authorities. The main outcomes planned to be achieved owing to this project for the student council members are to include them in decision-making processes using innovative digital tools for the participation in the application \u201cProra\u010dun(ajme)\u201d of the City of Rijeka and to establish a dialogue between high school students, members of the Youth Council and decision-makers in the thematic areas of the Youth Programme. The main outcomes that are planned to be achieved for the decision makers of the City of Rijeka owing to this project are to sensitise them for a meaningful dialogue with young people in the implementation of operational plans of the Youth Programme of the City of Rijeka 2023-2030.<\/p>\n
