{"id":3307,"date":"2017-06-19T15:24:18","date_gmt":"2017-06-19T13:24:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rijeka.hr\/en\/?page_id=3307"},"modified":"2021-08-13T14:59:31","modified_gmt":"2021-08-13T12:59:31","slug":"greenersites","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.rijeka.hr\/en\/city-government\/eu-projects\/closed-projects\/greenersites\/","title":{"rendered":"GreenerSites"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Project goal<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>To improve the environmental management of unused or underused industrial areas in order to make functional urban areas more liveable places.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3309\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rijeka.hr\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/06\/GreenerSites_CMYK-600x259-300x130.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>GreenerSites \u2013 Environmental rehabilitation of brownfield rites in central Europe<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project duration:<\/strong> 36 months (01 June 2016 \u2013 31 May 2019)<br \/>\n<strong>Description: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>GreenerSites <\/strong>seeks to improve the environmental management of un- or underused industrial areas through the definition of strategies and tools that are based on a sustainable, integrated approach to make functional urban areas (FUAs) cleaner, healthier and more liveable places. The project will enable project partners shared and enhanced knowledge on integrated environmental management of brownfields and will also reinforce capacities of the public sector to plan and carry out brownfield regeneration and produce well-defined sustainability measures and tools to ensure the effectiveness of environmental planning.
