Taxi services in and from the city territory are carried out on the basis of a licence for carrying out taxi services and a concession agreement until their expiry. The licence is issued by the City, Utility Services Department, for a term of five years. It is not transferable and it may be used only by the taxi driver to whom the licence has been issued.<\/p>\n

Until 2010, taxi services were carried out in Rijeka on the basis of the Concession Agreement that the City of Rijeka signed with taxi drivers following a completed tendering procedure. In accordance with the Road Transport Act (Official Gazette 178\/04 and 48\/05, 111\/06, 63\/08\u00a0and 124\/09) taxi services in the territory of the City of Rijeka are regulated by a new decision on taxi transport services \u00a0(Official Gazette of the Primorje – Gorski Kotar County No 6\/10<\/a>, 10\/10<\/a>, 16\/10<\/a>), serving as a basis for carrying out licensed taxi services.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
