Real estate appraisal in the Republic of Croatia is regulated by the Real Estate Valuation Act<\/strong>\u00a0(Official Gazette No\u00a078\/2015<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The real estate information system eNekretnine, enables authorised appraisers and real estate brokers to access data which is the basis for their quality professional work. This database contains data on the number of transactions for each area, on the types of real estate and data on the real estate that was the subject of the transaction – apartment, house, office premises, agricultural, construction, forest land, prices achieved, etc.<\/p>\n

In accordance with the Real Estate Valuation Act, the City of Rijeka has established an Appraisal Commission and an expert service for performing professional and administrative and technical tasks for the needs of the commission. The appraisal commission gives opinions on the compliance of appraisal studies with the provisions of the Real Estate Valuation Act at the request of local and regional self-government units, for its own needs.<\/p>\n

The professional service is also in charge of preparing and entering data, evaluating and maintaining the Purchase Price Collection, issuing excerpts from the Purchase Price Collection from eNekretnine, and issuing and publishing the Real Estate Market Report.<\/p>\n
