The daytime accommodation facilities of the Centre for adults with psychical diseases \u201cTurni\u0107\u201d started its operation on 1 September 2013. This project is aimed at improving the life quality of people with mental disorders, their resocialisation and inclusion in community life and at providing assistance to families.<\/p>\n

The daytime accommodation facilities operate in the premises owned by the city at the address: Josip Zavr\u0161nik No 2.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Social Policy and Youth, as the founder of the Centre \u201cTurni\u0107\u201d, the Primorje Gorski Kotar County and the City of Rijeka take part in the financing of this project.<\/p>\n

The daytime accommodation facilities offer full-time or half-day accommodation services to a maximum of 20 users. The working hours on weekdays are from 7 to 17 h. The following services are provided to beneficiaries: meals (breakfast and lunch), personal hygiene maintenance, health care, custody, education, care, work activities, learning, daily activities, psychosocial rehabilitation, reorganization of leisure time and other services, depending on the beneficiary\u2019s needs and choice. The services are provided to the beneficiaries by a rehabilitator, a nurse and a caregiver. In accordance with the price agreed with the Ministry of Social Policy and Youth, half-day accommodation costs amount to HRK 500.00, while the full-time costs amount to HRK 1,000.00 per month. The services provided by the daytime accommodation facilities are recognised to the beneficiaries pursuant to the Decree issued by the Social Welfare Centre competent according to the beneficiary\u2019s residence.<\/p>\n
