{"id":659,"date":"2016-10-06T08:57:16","date_gmt":"2016-10-06T06:57:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rijeka.hr\/en\/?page_id=659"},"modified":"2025-09-18T13:02:14","modified_gmt":"2025-09-18T11:02:14","slug":"access-to-information","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.rijeka.hr\/en\/themes-for-citizens\/active-citizenship\/access-to-information\/","title":{"rendered":"Access to information"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Act on the Right of Access to Information (&#8220;National Gazette&#8221;, No 25\/2013. and Amendments and Additions to the Act on the Right of Access to Information 88\/2015, 69\/2022) <strong>enables the right of access to information to domestic and foreign natural persons and legal entities in the same manner and under the same conditions. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The right of access to information<\/strong>\u00a0 is realised by submitting a request.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/gov.rijeka.hr\/zahtjevi-i-obrasci\/pristup-informacijama\/zahtjev-za-pristup-informacijama\/204\">Request for access to information<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The public authority body shall decide on the request for access to information at the latest within 15 days from the date of submitting a valid request.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reuse of information<\/strong> has been laid down by the Act on the Right of Access to Information as the use of public authority information by natural persons or legal entities, for commercial or non-commercial purposes different from the original purpose within the public purpose for which this information was created, and which is realised within the frame of the law or other scope prescribed by the regulations, or business that is generally considered a public affair.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The right of reuse of information <\/strong>is realised by submitting a request.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/gov.rijeka.hr\/zahtjevi-i-obrasci\/pristup-informacijama\/zahtjev-za-pristup-informacijama\/204\">Request for reuse of information <\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Examples of public sector information include various economic and financial data, judicial data, urban planning and geographic information, statistical information, various registers and databases with a potential of reuse for the purpose of developing new products and services.<\/p>\n<p>With the purpose of reusing information, the public authority body shall make its information available electronically whenever it is possible and appropriate.
