{"id":6600,"date":"2018-10-19T11:00:16","date_gmt":"2018-10-19T09:00:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rijeka.hr\/en\/?page_id=6600"},"modified":"2024-09-05T13:26:53","modified_gmt":"2024-09-05T11:26:53","slug":"extended-school-programme-day-school-elementary-school-pupils","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.rijeka.hr\/en\/themes-for-citizens\/upbringing-and-education\/elementary-schools\/programs-projects-implemented-elementary-schools\/extended-school-programme-day-school-elementary-school-pupils\/","title":{"rendered":"Extended School and All-Day School Programmes for elementary school pupils"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Extended School and All-Day School Programmes represent an \u201cupgrade\u201d on the minimum state pedagogic standard for children attending lower elementary school grades (from grade 1 to grade 4).<\/p>\n<p>The Extended School Programme allows pupils to stay in school before and after regular lessons, with organised meals and teaching and extracurricular activities.<\/p>\n<p>The All-Day School Teaching is a specific form of this programme, envisaged as a combination of one teacher education and organised free time during at least eight hours a day (as a rule from 8:00 to 16:00 h).<\/p>\n<p>The following are the goals of the programme activity and organisation of free time of the Extended and All-Day School Programmes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>enable children to live a life filled with various contents that will have a favourable impact on the development of their complete personality and individual and unique potentials;<\/li>\n<li>enable children\u2019s development as social beings \u2013 during all-day school programme or classes with permanent presence of social interaction which enables the development and improvement of their social skills;<\/li>\n<li>prepare children for further education and life-long learning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Every school year, on average 2,100 pupils are included in the Extended School and All-Day School Programmes in our city.<\/p>\n<p>The programmes are co-financed by the budget of the City of Rijeka, while parents pay part of the price.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Extended School and All-Day School Programmes represent an \u201cupgrade\u201d on the minimum state pedagogic standard for children attending lower elementary school grades (from grade 1 to grade 4).
