A report is released concerning any consultation carried out which indicates which citizens\u2019 proposals have been adopted and those that have been declined.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Law on the Right to Access Information (\u201cNational Gazette\u201d\u00a0<strong>No. 25\/13,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>88\/15 and 69\/22, unofficial revised text<\/strong>) lays down the public\u2019s right to access information held by public authorities.<\/p>\n<p>It lays down that local self-government units shall publish a list of acts for which they will carry out consultations with the interested public prior to their adoption or amendments, the so called Schedule of consultations with the interested public.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The City of Rijeka has been carrying out E-consultations since 2011, <\/strong>while at national level, this legal obligation requiring that consultations are carried out at public government bodies was introduced in 2013.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Consultations with the interested public or E-consultations are carried out in respect of those general acts, which adoption or amendments directly lead to the realisation of citizens\u2019 needs or determine other issues in the interest of the general welfare of the citizens and legal entities in the territory of the city of Rijeka.
