The methodology will enable the stakeholders involved in planning and providing services related to urban mobility to use new data sources, tools and methods to effectively use real-world data when planning sustainable urban mobility and creating new solutions to identified problems in the transport system.<\/p>\n<h3>Duration:<\/h3>\n<h3>1 July \u2013 31 December 2020<\/h3>\n<h3>Description<\/h3>\n<p>Using traditional data collection methods, such as strategic documentation analysis, traffic counting, traffic flow recording and surveys, and analysis of anonymised datasets, zones dominated by environmentally unacceptable and energy inefficient forms of mobility will be identified. In particular, in the city of Rijeka, there will be pairs of original destination zones with an above-average share of car use for everyday travel. Then, through a more detailed analysis of these pairs, potential measures in the field of urban mobility will be identified to encourage the transition to sustainable forms of travels between identified zones, means such as rail, public transport by bus, cable car, classic or electric bicycle and the like. The proposed measures will be presented to citizens and stakeholders of the transport system who will be able to evaluate them, give them priority and valuable feedback.<\/p>\n<h3>Expected results<\/h3>\n<p>Upon completion of the project, the City of Rijeka will receive a new strategic basis for the implementation of measures in the field of urban mobility that will significantly improve the urban transport system and direct it towards the use of sustainable forms of mobility.
