The exhibition titled MyPortHeritage – Urban regeneration of the port heritage in the Adriatic Sea is available on http:\/\/myportheritage.eu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The exhibition highlights the historical aspect of the development of ports, as well as their impact on their surroundings in different periods, while visitors will gain additional knowledge about commercial, productive and leisure activities that marked the life of ports and the evolution of relations between the two Adriatic coasts.<\/p>\n

\"\"This virtual exhibition is a good foundation for entrepreneurs who recognise the economic potential of ports and who have the opportunity to realise their entrepreneurial ideas that can be implemented in port areas, namely connecting the past and present, and with a focus on materials (goods), technology, people and culture.<\/p>\n

The aim of the virtual exhibition is to enable temporary uses of space for various activities enhancing tangible and intangible port heritage.<\/p>\n

EU project TEMPUS is focused on temporary uses as a beginning of the regeneration of port heritage<\/p>\n

The TEMPUS project – Temporary uses as initial actions to improve the port’s (in) tangible heritage – brings together nine partners from Croatia and Italy, with the aim of regenerating abandoned urban port areas while respecting the cultural heritage and customs of the community. The activities of the TEMPUS project are focused on three pilot areas: Ravenna, Solin and Rijeka.<\/p>\n

The project value amounts to EUR 2,706,920.00, of which 85% relates to a grant co-financed by the European Union under the Cross-border Cooperation Program INTERREG VA Italy – Croatia 2014 – 2020.
