{"id":12954,"date":"2022-08-19T11:13:50","date_gmt":"2022-08-19T09:13:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rijeka.hr\/en\/?p=12954"},"modified":"2022-08-22T12:01:02","modified_gmt":"2022-08-22T10:01:02","slug":"project-support-free-telephone-line-mental-health-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rijeka.hr\/en\/project-support-free-telephone-line-mental-health-support\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Support: free telephone line for mental health support"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Trained and supervised volunteers of the \u201cTerra\u201d association are available on the phone, as well as five expert counsellors for individual psychotherapy if callers need it.<\/p>\n<p>The volunteers on duty were educated through two-day workshops held in July, where, among other things, they learned more about the specifics of working on the telephone line and working with socially sensitive groups, the protocol for dealing with emergency situations and active listening.<\/p>\n<p>The free telephone is part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rijeka.hr\/en\/city-government\/eu-projects\/ongoing-projects\/support\/?noredirect=en_GB\">Support project &#8211; strengthening organisational capacities to provide professional and volunteering psychosocial support in crisis situations<\/a>, which is implemented by the \u201cTerra\u201d association, the \u201cOaza\u201d association and the City of Rijeka.
