It arose from the desire to create a regional symphony orchestra of the highest artistic quality that invites to a new kind of communication. This project rests on music and society. All No Borders Orchestra performances successfully combine musical excellence with comprehensive social awareness.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"338\" height=\"600\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-12968 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rijeka.hr\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/08\/No-Borders-Orchestra-338x600-338x600.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rijeka.hr\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/08\/No-Borders-Orchestra-338x600.png 338w, https:\/\/www.rijeka.hr\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/08\/No-Borders-Orchestra-338x600-225x400.png 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 338px) 100vw, 338px\" \/>The orchestra was founded in 2012 in Belgrade and Berlin as a non-governmental organisation aimed at initiating positive social development through reconciliation and creative cooperation and it represents a platform for overcoming nationalism, racism, xenophobia, homophobia and the bloody legacy of the past in the Western Balkans and beyond.
