{"id":6063,"date":"2018-07-12T09:54:38","date_gmt":"2018-07-12T07:54:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rijeka.hr\/en\/?p=6063"},"modified":"2019-10-09T15:15:23","modified_gmt":"2019-10-09T13:15:23","slug":"utility-company-vodovod-kanalizacija-water-supply-sewage-system-embark-realisation-one-largest-projects-water-utility-industry-financed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rijeka.hr\/en\/utility-company-vodovod-kanalizacija-water-supply-sewage-system-embark-realisation-one-largest-projects-water-utility-industry-financed\/","title":{"rendered":"Utility company \u201cVodovod i kanalizacija\u201d (water supply and sewage system) is about to embark on the realisation of one of the largest projects in the water utility industry financed by EU funds"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Utility company \u201cVodovod i kanalizacija\u201d to take a loan from Erste&amp;Steiermarkische bank<\/h2>\n<p>The City Council of the City of Rijeka has granted its consent to the utility company \u201cVodovod i kanalizacija\u201d so that it may take out a loan in the amount of HRK 134,687,000.00 from Erste&amp;Steiermarkische bank, in order to co-finance\u00a0 the project \u201cImprovement in Water and Utility Infrastructure\u201d in the territory of the Rijeka agglomeration and it includes the territories of the city of Rijeka and the town of Kastav and the municipalities of Vi\u0161kovo, \u010cavle and Jelenje. This is one of the largest projects in the water utility industry in the territory of the Republic of Croatia. It has been estimated that the project value amounts to HRK 1,761,563,000 (VAT excluded). The project will be co-financed by the Cohesion Fund of the EU with 71.3%, i.e. HRK 1.25 billion. The remaining 28.7%, namely about HRK 505 million, will be provided from national resources. About 36.7% by funds of the entity \u201cHrvatske vode\u201d (Croatian water), and 36.7 % by funds allocated in the state budget.<\/p>\n<h2>Providing the public service of collecting mixed municipal waste and biodegradable municipal waste and services linked to the public service in the territory of the city of Rijeka<\/h2>\n<p>The City Council has modified the Decision on the manner of providing the public service of collecting mixed municipal waste and biodegradable municipal waste and services linked to the public service in the territory of the city of Rijeka.
