The Service responsible for coordinating activities of the Rijeka Urban Agglomeration carries out the activities relating to work organisation and coordination of all the bodies and task forces included in the Rijeka Urban Agglomeration.
The Rijeka Urban Agglomeration has been formed with the goal of more effective planning, harmonisation and implementation of regional development policy, first of all, by drawing resources from EU funds through integrated territorial investments (ITI mechanism).
Scope of activity:
- Providing interpretation, explanation, advice and recommendations to the bodies of the Urban Agglomeration and to the professional services of the members of the Urban Agglomeration;
- Following availability and opportunities to finance projects under EU funds;
- Monitoring the implementation of the Urban Agglomeration Strategy.
