Having postponed the key events of the Rijeka Carnival to the summer months, this exhibition, in the season of the reign of masks in Rijeka, offers citizens and visitors a glimpse of the latest international parades. The photographs on display were taken during the last two editions of the International Parade.

“Unfortunately, with the pandemic underway, even this year the Rijeka Carnival cannot show all its splendour in the usual period. The main carnival events had to be postponed to the summer months, hoping that the pandemic until then, would fade. However, to enable that Korzo is under the banner of carnival in the season of masks, a photographic exhibition has been set up on the panels on Korzo that shows the diversity and beauty of the carnival and brings the carnival spirit to the centre of our city. I invite all interested parties to see the exhibition on the Rijeka Carnival, which, I hope, will be able to take place next year in the usual winter period,” said Rijeka Mayor Marko Filipović.
