The City Office carries out as follows:

  • legal, advisory, protocol, professional and administrative activities relating to the scope of activities of the mayor, the City Council and its working bodies;
  • professional and administrative activities relating to the preparation and organisation of board meetings (mayor and department heads) and the City Council and its working bodies;
  • activities relating to organisation of protocolar receptions and suitable ceremonies;
  • co-operation of the City bodies with the state authorities, the media, institutions, associations and citizens;
  • activities relating to the realisation of national minority rights;
  • activities relating to the realisation of the right of access to information;
  • activities relating to City representation before judicial bodies,
  • activities relating to the development of international co-operation and activities emanating from the field of European integrations,
  • co-operation with the civil sector,
  • advisory activities from the field of finances, law and development for the mayor’s needs,
  • activities relating to the publication of the Official Gazette of the City,
  • activities relating to direct citizen information, through media and the city’s websites,
  • advisory and coordination activities tied to the operation of the bodies and task forces within the Rijeka  Urban Agglomeration.
