Within the EU Green Week, programme that encourages green policy creation at local level, the City of Rijeka in co-operation with numerous partners has organised its first Green Rijeka Week.

The idea lying behind the celebration of the Green Rijeka Week is to indicate, through various programmes, to a number of opportunities whereby we can improve environmental protection, the biodiversity of flora and fauna in Rijeka and the quality of life in general.
