Since 2006, the City of Rijeka has had in place a Contract on liability insurance arising from utility activities. This insurance covers the liability of the City of Rijeka for damage resulting from death, bodily injury or impairment of health, as well as damage to or destruction of property of third parties, arising from the use of unclassified roads and other public traffic areas managed by the City of Rijeka.

This insurance covers liability for damage incurred through the use of unclassified roads and other public traffic areas managed by the City of Rijeka.

Claims for compensation are to be submitted to the Administrative Department for General Affairs.
