The following eight cemeteries are managed by utility company Kozala: Kozala, Trsat, Central city cemetery Drenova,  Donja and Gornja Drenova, Zamet, Draga and Sveti Kuzam.

As in 1872, Kozala cemetery in Rijeka, became a public cemetery. Rijeka was among first European cities that had a public cemetery. In 2006, cemeteries Kozala and Trsat were permanently protected as cultural and historical complexes. Since 2004 utility company Kozala has been admitted to A.S.C.E. (Association of Significant Cemeteries of Europe).

The closed pet cemetery is also located in Kozala.
