Integrated Territorial Investments – ITI Implementation Division carries out activities and functions of the Intermediary body for integrated territorial investments and other activities tied to the implementation of the integrated territorial investment mechanism as a special form of investment of EU funds tied exclusively to the Rijeka Urban Agglomeration projects and programmes.

Integrated Territorial Investments are a special form of EU funds investment, tied exclusively to projects and programmes created by local self government units joined in an urban agglomeration, namely in urban areas.

Scope of activity:

• activities and functions as the Intermediate Body (IB) of Integrated Territorial Investments and other activities related to the implementation of the Integrated Territorial Investment Mechanism (ITI mechanism),
• assessing the quality of project proposals and performing other tasks of the intermediary body function of the integrated territorial investments mechanism and transferred activities of the operational programme Managing Authority,
• cooperation with the Coordinating Body, the Managing Authority and Intermediate Bodies during the implementation and monitoring of the Operational Programme,
• participation in the activity of the Operational Programme Monitoring Committee, in drawing up project selection criteria, drawing up instructions for applicants and Operational Programme closure activities
