In accordance with Article 161 of the Rules of Procedure of the Rijeka City Council (Official Gazette” of the Primorje – Gorski Kotar County Nos  29/0914/1322/13, and 25/13 – consolidated text), the sessions of the Rijeka City Council are public.

Citizens and three representatives of interested legal entities are entitled to be present at Council sessions.

Citizens and legal entities shall announce their presence and the presence of their representatives at least three days prior to holding the session.

A letter shall be sent by mail at the address: Gradsko vijeće (City Council), Korzo 16, or an email at the address gradsko-vijece@rijeka.hr. or a filled out form.

The Council president may limit the number of citizens attending the session due to space capacities and in order to keep order during the session.

The space capacities of the Rijeka City Hall enable concurrent presence of up to 10 persons.

Persons who get permission from the Council president to attend a session, may be present at the session after having presented an ID card or another ID document.

In the event that a larger number of citizens have registered, the Council President shall take care of the order of registration and shall give permission to attend the session, taking into account the order in which they have registered.

Citizens who cannot be present at a City Council session, have a possibility to watch a live stream of a City Council session available on the city website.
