On Monday, 28 March, at 2 pm, a presentation of the European Year of Youth and a panel discussion “Youth in Social Life” will be held, organised by Europe Direct Rijeka, in the Torpedo Production Park in which students and representatives of youth associations will take part.
2022 has been declared the European Year of Youth with the aim of hearing better the voice of young people, learning their points of view and opinions, and highlighting the important role of young people in building a better future, that is greener, more inclusive and digital.
The programme “Youth in Social Life”, in which high-school and university students and representatives of youth associations will take part, will start at 2 pm with the presentation of the European Year of Youth.
A panel discussion will follow, in which Amel Hadžipašić, Anita Širola, Dino Kečević and Irena Lukić will participate, while Sara Sušanj will take the role of moderator. Some of the topics will be opportunities for young people, their thoughts on the opportunities offered within the European Union, and there will be talks on studying and the importance of extracurricular activities.
