“Rijeka in the Homeland War” by author Dragan Ogurlić is a book that in a documented manner, through the words of the author and numerous interlocutors, mainly war commanders and prominent people in Rijeka and the region in the period from 1991 to 1995, faithfully shows the situation in Rijeka and the closest battlefront in Lika during the war.

The book talks about preparations, growth, development and war action by numerous war formations from a wider Rijeka area, medical corps, general logistic, spiritual care, as well as acceptance and care of about 40 thousands exiles and refugees, ending with the liberation actions “Flash” and “Storm”.
