The “Belveder” Sports and Recreation Centre was built in 1936 and it has been included the protected cultural zone by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia.

It is primarily intended for the following sports: football, rugby, gymnastics, karate and boxing. Moreover, the “Belveder” centre is occasionally used for recreation.

The main part of the facilities consists of a football field, a gym, and a small recreation hall, while auxiliary facilities include a locker room, an associate’s office, a fitness centre and a chiropractic clinic. Within the Centre there is a restaurant and sales areas. The grandstands have a capacity of 2,000 seats and there are 100 standing places in the gym.

The dimensions of the artificial turf is 100 m x 60 m, and it is in accordance with the competition standards that are organised by the Football Association of the Primorje Gorski Kotar County.

The artificial turf of a total area of 6,920 sq m produced by Lano sports NV, PROFOOT MXSi 20 40-TPE IS 25 (13/M/58766-1) has been installed on the field.

All the football fields with synthetic grass in Rijeka –  auxiliary stadium of the Kantrida Stadium, the “Robert Komen” football field and the Belveder Sports and Recreation Centre – have been in line with the highest FIFA standards.
