The Kantrida swimming pool complex intended for sport, recreation and entertainment was inaugurated in 2008.

The Kantrida swimming pool complex includes an indoor Olympic pool with a retractable roof, Olympic pool 2 (open swimming pool), a 25m swimming pool, a children’s pool and a diving swimming pool. The pools are equipped to meet the standards of the largest water sports competitions. The complex is situated on the beach, that was opened to public in June 2011.
