The development of civil society and the encouragement of cooperation between civil society organisations and the City of Rijeka are among the priorities of the City of Rijeka.

For many years, the Office of the City of Rijeka has been continuously encouraging a number of activities, projects and programmes promoted by non-profit organisations in the following fields: youth, volunteering, international cooperation and national minorities, with the aim of improving citizens’ active participation in the local community and improving the quality of life of citizens, as well as the international cooperation of the City of Rijeka.
