Owing to private investment, a new stadium was built in Rujevica, where HNK Rijeka plays.

The City of Rijeka contributed significant funds to the investment by providing a terrain, road construction and necessary infrastructure.

The City provided part of the terrain needed for the construction of the training camp and the necessary spatial and planning documentation, specifically the Urban Plan for the development of the Rujevica sports area.

Furthermore, the conceptual, main and execution project of the access road to the future Camp was created, and the land was purchased and the road built.

As for equipping the camp with utility infrastructure, a 675-meter long gas pipeline was built.
