The just approved Fortissimo project will be co-financed under the Creative Europe – Innovation Lab 2022 programme, and its total value amounts to EUR 2,831,311.29. The part of the project that relates to Rijeka is worth EUR 118,690.50 and will be co-financed with EUR 71,165.70.

The Fortissimo project will create an interactive digital tool or application that will bring classical music closer to new generations. It will enable dynamic and intuitive learning for young users and will offer teachers an innovative tool for distance learning as well as for standard classes.

22 partners from 11 European countries, Croatia, Italy, Germany, France, Denmark, Spain, Austria, Poland, Lithuania, Slovenia and Ukraine take part in the project. Its realisation will begin in March 2023 and will last for two years, i.e. until the end of February 2025.

It starts with Fortissimo for a group aged between six and seven years in 11 European languages.

Numerous partners from the audiovisual sector, theatres and educational institutions take part in the project. In addition to the Rijeka Symphony Orchestra, the orchestras Fondazione Haydn (Italy) and the German Magdeburg Theater will also participate. The goal is to provide children with full access to digital tools for different, playful and fun learning.
