The representatives of the jury were directly acquainted with the activity of all the candidates through personal visits to the institutions. In July this year Beat Hächler, jury member and director of the Swiss Alpine Museum, Bern visited in this role the Rijeka City Museum. On that occasion, he was introduced to the activity of the Museum by director Ervin Dubrović, curator Kristina Pandža, pedagogue Josipa Verbanac and designer Nikolina Jelavić Mitrović.

The name of the award winner will be announced at the annual conference of the European Museum Forum, which will be held in Barcelona from 3 to 6 May 2023.
