The departments and branches of the Rijeka City Library work according to summer working hours until 3 September, except for the Children’s Department “Stribor”, which starts its summer working hours on 11 July.
The central departments (Modello, Filodrammatica, Public Reading Room) work on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 am to 2 pm, on Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm, and on Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm. The Children’s Department “Stribor” will have the same working hours starting from 11 July. Until then, since the Children’s Festival “Tobogan” is taking place in the Children’s House, the Children’s Department “Stribor” is open according to its regular all-day working hours until 7:30 p.m.
The Zamet branch is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., on Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Turnić, Drenova and Trsat branches are open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., on Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and are closed on Saturday.
During the summer months, it is possible to borrow five books at once through the “Peta ljetna/The fifth summer book” action.
