The building fee for municipal waste management facilities is calculated by the utility company Čistoća, for and on behalf of the City of Rijeka.

The fee rate is determined on an annual basis. In 2020, the building fee for municipal waste management facilities in the territory of the city of Rijeka is determined per litre of mixed municipal waste in the monthly amount of 0.018 HRK/lit for households, and 0.049 HRK/lit for legal entities and natural persons – craftsmen.
