Reuse is an indispensable part of a complete waste management system, and it involves the reuse of various things and objects, for example, old furniture, clothing and consumer goods in general.

Encouraging reuse, Čistoća has launched the city workshop Riperaj, the first of its kind in Croatia.

Riperaj is a place where citizens can repair defective small household appliances, broken and damaged furniture, clothes, toys and the like free of charge with the help of craftsmen who have the necessary knowledge and skills.

Owners of broken and damaged items in Riperaj can find some of the harder-to-find tools that are usually not worth buying.
